County park features 115 land acres, 104 water acres. No swimming allowed. Virginia State Fishing License is required and an ample supply of sunfish, channel catfish and largemouth bass are stocked at all lakes. U.S. Coast Guard approved-boats and watercrafts welcome; no gas-powered motors. Picnic tables and restrooms available.

One of the finest neighborhood parks in the city, Belmont Park is bounded by Stonehenge Ave., Rialto St. and Druid Ave. The park contains a full basketball court, benches, swing set and slides, large shady oak trees and a courtyard with shelter for outdoor concerts. City park with three basketball courts (one lighted), a lighted outdoor pool with wading area and bath house, a recreation building with restrooms, playground area, picnic shelter, regulation softball field, and a multi-use field. The new boardwalk features native and non-native bog plant varieties with plans for an eventual bog walk and educational brochure. Dogs must be on-leash and under control.

County park boasts 120 land acres featuring walking trails, wheelchair-accessible playground, eight picnic tables and five grills, two picnic shelters with open grills and electricity and seasonal restrooms. Sixty-two water acres and two beach acres allow for boating (gas-powered motors prohibited), fishing, canoe rental and swimming. Wheelchair-accessible fishing pier available. User fees for park between Memorial Day and Labor Day, canoe rental $5.
